At Branch Education, every 3D model, animation, and visual you see in our videos is built by human hands. Our animators, modelers, and researchers put significant time into crafting accurate, beautiful representations of complex engineering concepts. That human effort is the core of what makes Branch, Branch.
AI tools have become widely available, and we want to be transparent about exactly how — and how not — we use them.
AI is complex and crazy; to us, it feels like a mix between the Industrial Revolution and the discovery of the atom and atomic energy (of course, we were alive through neither of these ages).
Our goal is to provide a thorough explanation of how AI works and how hardware runs it, while introducing and discussing many of the ethical and policy positions. Essentially, we are trying to stay neutral on the debate while providing as much information as possible, as we believe it’s important for the general population to be accurately informed.
We do not use AI for any script, audio, or visual element that you see or hear.
AI is a tool, and we will never use it as a creator of any of our content.
Educational content needs to be trustworthy. When we show you how a GPU works, or how electrons tunnel through a transistor, the accuracy of that depiction matters enormously. Our team spends weeks verifying technical details, consulting engineers, and checking our models against real hardware.
We believe that the care and craft our humans put into every frame is part of what makes Branch Education reliable. We're not going to shortcut that.
